International research for development (IDRC) supports research in developing countries to promote the growth and development. The results are innovative solutions, with a local duration which are intended to achieve choice and change to those who need it most. Climate change of IDRC and the program of water (CCW) helps countries developing researchers to understand how climate change affects water resources and find ways to improve the capacity of citizens and Governments to adapt to changes in the environment.Adaptation ACC H 2 O awards research of postgraduate objective of building capacity for research through funding to graduate students working on issues related to climate change and water. Features: 1) for developing countries to graduate students: up to a maximum of seven prizes, each worth up to CA $15,000 are available in the period 2011-2012. The scholarship covers the costs of fieldwork for graduate students who are citizens of a developing country and who are enrolled in a program of master’s degree or doctorate in a Canada University or in developing countries. Canadian MBA students are not eligible.The proposed field work must take place in a developing country and start no later than 31 December 2012. Supervisor’s investigation of the applicant must provide training and supervision in the field of the duration of the concession period.Applicants must have completed all the courses required for your program of study before receiving the award.
